“One of the most beautiful sunsets in the Mediterranean,” is how Ischia chef Nino Di Costanzo – of the two-Michelin-star “Dani Maison” – describes the new project he started with pizzaiolo Ivano Veccia and Venetian entrepreneur Federico de Majo. Lisola is a restaurant set in a 1927 green tuff building, with a lush garden and breathtaking views over the Ventotene island; the space – designed by architect Marco Raia – has a contemporary style, with a predominance of earthy colors.
The atmosphere of simplicity and warmth is enhanced by the Zafferano products that enrich all areas: Federico de Majo has selected Sfera and Bilia blown glass suspension lamp for the pizzeria and grill areas; while the mise en place plays with the shapes and colors of plates, glasses, goblets and accessories; on all the tables, the micro version of Poldina creates an intimate and non-invasive lighting. The restaurant offers Mediterranean and traditional cuisine, where the boundaries between kitchen, pizza and charcoal grill are harmoniously blurred.
